We are lucky enough to have a B&B (Arboyne House) positioned directly next door to us making trips to and from the pub easy! With both traditional B&B rooms available (ensuite) this beautiful Medieval house, also offers self catering & self contained apartments for those wishing for a more private & perhaps lengthy stay. The Start is an 18th century bed and breakfast only 300 yards from the centre of Hay-On-Wye on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. With river views from each bedroom window, hens & ducks supplying your breakfast eggs, and a large garden, it is impossible to not fall in love with! An ideal location for cyclists and walkers, the owners Steve and Dawn are happy to provide packed lucnhes for your outings, with cycle lock ups and drying facilities on site too.
